Dear Baseball Fanatics,
To give you something to help you wait for the MLB season to begin, ACTA Publications is offering copies of either the regular perfect-bound or the spiral-bound edition of The Bill James Handbook 2020 for just $10 (a $30 value), available only here or by calling 800-397-2282 through April 30. Even if you already have a copy, this book makes a perfect gift for anyone in your personal “hot stove” or “fantasy baseball” league.
In addition, with every order we will send a FREE COPY of Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda: Baseball Stories You Haven’t Heard Yet by Chris Williams, a 108-page book of twelve great baseball yarns that retails for $10.95 and also makes a great book to read or give while waiting for baseball (and the world) to return to normal.
You will be charged a small fee for shipping and handling, but if your order totals more than $29.89, your shipping will be free anywhere in the United States. (For discounted Canadian shipping costs, call 800-397-2282.)
Gregory F. Augustine Pierce, Publisher, ACTA Sports
The first-to-market, most comprehensive, insightful, and groundbreaking annual baseball book on the market. A must-have gift for every true fan, with lifetime statistics and leader boards for every player in the major leagues and projections for how they might do in the future.
"The Best Ever! I have every one of the Bill James Handbooks from the beginning around 1989. Every one is special." Thomas R. Nahigian
"As always, this book has great information on the most recent MLB season, especially with its breakdown on lefty-righty statistics (e.g., how LHH fared vs RHP, how LHP fared vs RHH, etc.)."
"Enjoyable thoughtful reading with many baseball ideas. Great for winter reading to prep for the 2020 season."

Very pleased overall.
One request: when you create a list of statistics such as fielding, .etc, show the average for overall results for each table. E.g., catchers stolen base data: show the overall average % of caught stealing so I can compare individual results to individual performance.

I just wonder why they didn't wait a couple of more weeks and put all of the 2019 Post-Season stats in? I personally would have preferred it that way!

I have The Bill James Handbook going back over 25 years. First course of business at the end of the MLB regular season is to order it.
